Medical Visits
Some children who visit us have medical issues which, for one reason or another, have not been addressed back at home. Read some stories of how the Mid Surrey Link has helped a few of these children.


Vova's story

Vova, one of the children visiting in 2005, was partially blinded at an early age through an accident at school. Through the generosity of local consultants he received much needed treatment and was fitted with cosmetic lenses.

Ksusha's story

In 2005, one child, Ksenia (Ksusha), had a bad squint. Through the generosity of local consultants, specialists and hospitals, she received diagnosis and treatment.

Sergei's story

Sergei is a boy of 12 from Belarus who was mauled by a dog at the age of 4. He stayed in the UK with the Coton family for a year, and received treatment courtesy of Capio Ashtead Hospital.
