Ashtead Village Day 2011

The sun shone down on Ashtead Village Day 2011 where CCLL Mid-Surrey Link had a stand. People came along to try their luck on the Bottle Tombola whilst the Beat the Goalie game had queues reaching well back. Read more to find out who the winners were!

Ashtead Bridge Drive 2011

A bitterly cold January evening did not prevent a full house turning up to the Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall for the first Ashtead Bridge Drive of 2011. And what a start to 2011 it was! The generosity of those present was such that enough was raised to fund one of the children for a visit this year.

Alesia's family visit

Pauline and Keith first hosted Alesia in 2005. In August 2007, they invited Alesia S, her mum Olga and sister Nastya to visit them for a family holiday. Read Pauline's account of this return visit.

 

Liquidators' Collection

On Saturday 29th April 2006, 20 years after the accident in the Ukraine, several members of the Mid-Surrey Link dressed as liquidators (the people who went in after the accident in Chernobyl and attempted to clear it up) and took part in a collection in Epsom.
